Where can I find her?Erin is active in the Portland and Vancouver literary community. She can regularly be found attending poetry and literary events. through the greater metro area. She calls Ridgefield, Washington her little home on the prairie (for now). She travels and writes as frequently as she can, which usually isn't often enough.
She is married to local artist Nat Iwata and has three constantly moving boys. |

Currently, Erin Iwata's poetry can be viewed on 33 buses in Clark County through a collaboration with C-Tran and the Clark Country Art Commission, published by Printed Matter of Vancouver, Washington. Her poems are also featured in the up coming issue of Voice Catcher's Magazine. She was interviewed by The Columbian as a poet with Poetry Moves.

Erin is a regular contributor to Ghost Town Poetry. You can find her there the second Thursday of each month at Niche Bar and Gallery reading new and old pieces. She is also connected with the Portland Faith and Culture Writer's Connection. You can hear an what she is up to and join the conversation each month through the Faith and Culture Facebook page. When she can, she attends open mic at her local Barns and Noble and other coffee shops.
